Wilkhahn’s tip: Dubai Design Week 2016

The city on the Persian Gulf will be presenting itself for the second time this year during Dubai Design Week as an international hotspot for the design community. The event will be based in Dubai Design District (d3) where the Wilkhahn showroom is also located.

Wilkhahn culture: “Art has no limits” exhibition

The Wilkhahn Collection, Erika Knoop and Yvonne Goulbier are inviting visitors to come to an exhibition that will open in Eimbeckhausen on 14 October 2016 at 7 p.m. Three artists will be presenting a range of different work there along the “Art has no limits” theme.

Wilkhahn project news: work 4.0 at Hafven, Hanover

A new co-working and maker space called Hafven opened in Hanover at the beginning of October. Over more than 2,000 sq m in size, it provides office space and conference rooms, as well as workshops and a café accessible to the public. The Wilkhahn chairs for the Hafven workers are versatile and match the innovative nature of the concept.

Wilkhahn’s tip: plan now for ORGATEC events

The countdown’s running: premier trade show ORGATEC will be opening its doors on 25 October. Expected are around 50,000 visitors from all over the world who will be finding out about the latest new products and trends at the over 600 stands. Wilkhahn will again be in Cologne in force. The stand in hall 6.1 will include no fewer than five product debuts. In addition to new products, ORGATEC will be offering a range of events and presentations. We’ve added some of the most important ones below.

Wilkhahn’s tip: EXPO REAL in Munich

EXPO REAL is considered Europe’s biggest real estate and investment trade fair. It will open its doors in Munich on 4 October and feature over 1,700 exhibitors who represent a property’s entire lifecycle – from the planning to the construction phase to marketing and use of the building. The latest industry trends and innovations will be discussed in no less than 100 events. Wilkhahn will also be there as part of the programme organised by the Network for Architecture Exchange (NAX).

Wilkhahn’s a “major German brand”

The German Design Council invited guests to a special book launch in Berlin in mid-September. This year’s edition of The Major German Brands was introduced to the Minister of Culture, Professor Monika Grütters, and a whole host of guests from the worlds of business, politics and culture. Wilkhahn is also part of the select group of companies presented by the German Design Council.
